Tin town

Well every days a school day.

I heard this phrase and had to look it up.

Anyone got any good uses / examples of it?

Wallasey

Not sure wmhow true but great story of it is

.

During second world war the Nazis installed a wooden division somewhere in the forests of the Netherlands ...tanks, personal carriers, mortars, allsorts of wooden cutouts made to look like a build up of German forces . A Potemkin village so to speak ...

The allies aware of this plot via Dutch resistance.. allegedly flew over the site of the amassed "division" and dropped a singular wooden bomb with the words "bang" etched into it
