Oddly satisfying

Stuff that somehow is deeply satisfying to see or experience?

Droplets of rain running like beads, off a brand new gortex coat.

Perfect temperature butter, spreading evenly on toast as opposed to ripping it to pieces.

You?

Driving without a destination. You get to take in your surroundings more rather than trying to always be somewhere.

I also find peace in storm like weather.

Pausing a film or tv show and catching someone in a weird facial expression…even better if it’s a politician or celeb you don’t like.

When shampoo and conditioner both run out at the same time. It's like a cosmic blessing on my day on the very rare occasion it happens.

Oh, and when I get the water level right in the kettle and boil exactly enough water for one mug of tea. Heaven.

Alluringly mysterious

My first sip of hot tea in the morning. And the first sensation of hot water pounding my shoulders in the shower. Both make me audibly sigh with happiness and appreciation.

The sound of wind through trees.

And whiskers on kittens tied up with string. Have I got that right?

Not so much oddly satisfying but, having a bath and getting into fresh bedding has gotta be up there.

Oh crumbs!

I have never and doubt very much that I will ever know how satisfying that could be cos I just can never get it right!

I just buy those microwaveable rice in bags
