New year , positive thoughts for the year ahead coursing through your veins , what’s on your bucket list for this year ?

Mine are a few travel ones , a few sensible ones and a few risqué ones……..

1) Go to Las Vegas and do a helicopter ride up the Grand Canyon

2) Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix

3) Drive the Nurburgring

4) Lose a few pounds

5) Improve my wardrobe and stop relying on wearing T shirts

6) Stop checking emails every 10 minutes !!

7) need to sort (4) out first , but in the summer visit a nudist beach and skinny dip

8) visit a club

I’d be afraid of getting there and the weather not being right for them , but I can see the attraction

"Look at alaska railroad "

I've had a look at doing the Alaska Railroad tour and several different Canada tours and very interesting but need to save up for those

I was looking at something like Norway or one of the cruises that go that way.

Please don’t wait to lose weight to do fun things, enjoy life now. So often we put off enjoyment “when I’ve lost weight” “when I’m not so busy at work” “when I’ve saved a bit more money” do whatever it is when you can not just when you think you should.

My plan is to achieve a good balance across family, work, health and social life. I tend to get overly focused on what I'm doing at the time and neglect other areas. A lifelong trait I need to address.

I know I shouldn’t, but I reckon most of us have had body image doubts- I’m nearly there now , so we will see if the confidence to walk on a nude beach is there in the summer ????

"Vietnam for my 50th

Vietnam's great, food was fantastic, some of the scenery is amazing (not just Halong Bay), the war museums are a bit too real, the Mekong was fun, loved the people.

Enjoy it.
