You'd better untie him from the St Andrew's Cross in your dungeon then ....

Make sure he laps up all of the water with his tongue, whilst on his hands and knees

(Genuine sympathty for you - a bloody mess when you flood all over the kitchen )

Never a right time either!!

There's plenty of sales on at the mo if you need a new washing machine.

Brighton - even Hove!

Get loads of towels down. I bet the waste water tube has come adrift through vibration from the back so it probably just needs tightening or put back into the draining pipe. A mess but probably not a disaster.

Newcastle and Gateshead

help... turn off the water pipe 1st of all.... just to make sure nothing else can be spilt..

also turn off any electricity going into the kitchen (easiest to do this from the fuse box)

do you have some sort of emergency home service? give em a call, but check any excess 1st...

Good luck with it but it could be worse - my water leak poured through the landing ceiling last week!

You could call out a plumber, put on some odd sounding 70@s music and be wearing a floaty negligee when he arrives.

I'm sure I saw that in a film somewhere once!

i larnt to fix washing machines from youtube.

saved friends a lot of money on call outs and repairs.

under the sink should be the water tap.turn that off.get a bucket for when you pull out the washing machine as remove the cold water pipe.

also if you can remove the filter and see what its like in there.

last one i fixed was only blocked because of the ladies fluffy jumpers and all the bits had built up.

sorry im not nearer or id take a look for you.

good luck with it.

patrick.

good.

just keep an eye on it now and then as sometimes more water will work its way out from underneath.
