Thumbs or fingers

Whilst enjoying the delights of a coffee in a well known chain, I couldn't help but notice the difference between the more youthful and more mature clients when using their mobile phones.

Everyone younger was hammering out God knows how many words to the minute using both thumbs, whilst the mature folk poked away with their index fingers.

I tried the thumbs and punched out a text equivalent to writing with chunky crayons...epic fail.

Are you all thumbs or fingers?

Thumbs! I watch my mother in law tapping away at her phone with her index finger and it takes her an age to type out a message . It’s so much quicker using both your thumbs.

Thumbs all the way, however as a bassist the power is in both the fingers and thumbs.

Both thumbs normally, but I have been known to 'swype' with just one thumb, when trying to text one-handed.

Do you make sure to hold the phone as far away from your face as possible while you tap away with your little stylus
