Got a Dyson that’s ailing now, but don’t agree with buying another one. Can you recommend a good brand?

Shark. If you have long hair invest in the non tangle one.

Great brand of hoovers with a vast range and good value for money

Over-engineered and over-priced. Can't even remove all traces.

Get yourself a Henry.

Shark better at the job, Henry (while still respectable at the job) has the stamina to outlast Shark. You will be replacing a couple of Sharks before Henry gives out.

My hair still gets caught up in it, but best hoover I've had. Light weight and cordless.

You'll be amazed and horrified in equal amounts by the crap it picks up.

People who say Henry, have never used a shark hoover;) we've owned both and there's a world of difference in ease of use between the two. They are going cheap at Asda at the moment too!!

Shark lift away cordless only has one battery. You cannot get a second one but I very much doubt you will need it.

Spare filter it is good as they are washable and can't be used wet.
