Yes. Once upon a time I used to put meets up for just social interaction, absolutely nothing else on offer.

as above, yep. social meets for coffee, food, chatting with people you can talk freely with.. Its really nice.

OP you aren't far from me if you decide you fancy a social (you can of course decline.. i know im not everyone's cuppa ) Px

We used to organise socials here in the borders however no longer do so as some ruined it for others

Can't beat sharing your stories on a coffee shop where people start listening in haha.

Absolutely yes. Meeting someone for a drink and a chat can be great fun. There are some lovely people on here to meet.

I have had 2 lovely social only meetings from here, and other socials that developed into more. All were gorgeous and began with no expectations. Meeting new people to chat over a drink is a beautiful idea.
