What is the point of having pictures from say 2010

Surely nobody looks like they did then

I like photos of Monroe. Simply because she’s gorgeous in those photos. The photo captures them there and then, and they probably think they look good in them.

. Why wouldn’t people keep them? They have dates on them so you can use your imagination to think if they may have changed in some way.

The thing is I'd rather see the date they were originally uploaded than people take them off and upload again so they look recent

Ours are only 2 years old but we do have hundreds of recents too.

But yes, we’ve had people send us attached pics which are years old and that makes me think they are lazy.

Then when you ask for recent they say they haven’t changed at all…

…what even after basically doing nothing during Covid…incredible

I've seen one from 2013 and I don't get it either because you are right, there's no way anyone would look the same. I'm even considering taking down my pics from 2020/21 because I don't think I look much like that anymore

What would you say is old op?

For me it’s not the age of the photograph but the fact that some pictures have been through more filters than my 20 year old Kenco coffee maker!

The startled embalmed look is the least attractive I feel.

The problem is ... the date is when it was uploaded, not the date it was taken, so some could be really old yet be uploaded this month ... caveat emptor!

As long as there are up to date pics I don’t mind. I think sone people just add pics and keep older ones, and if they feel good about them why not? Sone of the profile pics on here are borderline iconic in their own right.
