I love this...respect to anyone even attempting this.

I become so invested in the attempts of those being challenged....their trials and tribulations!

Wish I was fit enough to attempt it.

My son has just informed me he'd be able to do it ....he did complete tough mudder

Anyone else a fan of this?.

Anyone ever taken part?

Currently showing on ITV2+1

"

Monkey...have you taken part?"

No, I was focusing my inner monkey ninja

I'll fly off on my pink cloud now

Much to old and injured to attempt that now ... redirect to those who do

I'm a reasonable climber and am pretty light and nimble on my feet.

I think with a little practice on a course I could do it

I watch and can guarantee I'll be able to psych myself up for it, do all the training needed and still be shattered 10 seconds in

Climbing sounds cool too. You'd certainly need to be light and nimble and fit!

I’ve had a go on a similar type of course… failed miserably.

Those who even make it to the third obstacle have my upmost respect

I enjoy watching it on TV, and also enjoyed gladiators but wouldn't apply myself.

Completed quite a few 10k + mud runs before covid.

Edinburgh (She/Her)

It is all core, techinque and its bloody hard..

The chap who designs the UK ninja courses on TV is from Edinburgh. Had a ninja place you could attempt stuff on..

Like I say bloody hard and he had easy, medium and hard obstacles to try...

I had forgotten about Gladiators...that was good fun.

My kids did the tough mudder. I was so proud of my daughter when she completed it.

Think you'll ever do anymore runs?

No, it's too much punishment on the joints for my liking at my age.

I think with all these major achievements, there's a massive adrenaline buzz at the end ... and when also done for charity win win

It's actually not that bad. You don't really feel it when you are running full pelt through it. Only caught me once and it didn't phase me.

Now some masochists just walked slowly arms open. They got it big style!!!

I’ve taken the kids to Ninja Warrior type assault courses in Leeds and Manchester and they have versions of some of the course…I can do it in bits, but to do the next stage straight after each other, that takes some fitness!

I’ve also done Tough Mudder and done the Yorkshire 3 peaks in 9 hours…I love endurance type events. They are mostly mental agility too…being able to push yourself beyond the pain threshold.
