"I’m off to get a colonic next week. Last time I had them a good few years ago felt really good and went on to lose 3 stone" That's interesting. Good luck with it and I hope this works for you. What made you get one in the first place?

"Research is finding poor gut health is often a contributory factor in many conditions. Makes sense to keep it on track but I don't think it is always as easy as just having a healthy diet, luckily there are easily obtainable food stuffs to assist. I feel better for taking them then get complacent stop and back to square one." I strongly believe my stomach problems are causing my panic attacks and causing me more arthritis pain.

"I make all my own fermented foods from sauerkraut to kimchi " Nice! I keep thinking I should do this! Who doesn't like sauerkraut?

"I make all my own fermented foods from sauerkraut to kimchi " I've been thinking of eating kimchi but it's not easy to find. Anything pickled has to be in brine to be most effective; which is a shame because I love cocktail gherkins and silverskin onions.

" Yes, I have used regular but did stop when on holidays and stopping did not agree with my stomach. Rather than having to go first thing in morning, I would find it was middle of day or any unpredictable time which was a nightmare finding a toilet, bearing in mind I was driving a road trip holiday. Got home, back on Actimel and within a couple of days back to regular when wakening up. It works for me.

"I'm looking into what might help my stomach problems. I've been following a low FODMAP, low fat diet for about a year. I'm now looking at probiotics to see if that will help. I find a Kombucha carbonated drink I've been drinking doesn't give me a stomach ache but it's £1.89 a can. Better than all the Cherry Lucozade I was drinking though. " I did fodmap, the probiotics are a bit of minefield as there's so many to chose from but too little support on which to get. I went with 20 billion, the 4 billion apparently do little to nothing. A healthy guy as 50 billion from what I remember

"I suspect that the 'New Year Health Resolution Industry' is somehow behind the sudden prominence of this topic. It's not just on here that I'm hearing it talked about. Free binder with part one of twenty issues if you sign up and pay in advance?" It's not new, but it's becoming more popular. Maybe because more people are having stomach problems.
