Lots of people take care of themselves, are aware of the foods they eat, they exercise regularly.

But do you try to maintain good gut health by taking care of your gut microbiome?

Improving yourself from the inside out.

They say gut microbiome is so very important and impacts us positively or adversely in many ways. There is a lot of ongoing research.

What if anything do you do to look after it?

Or do you think a healthy diet in itself will take care of it?

Have you made any changes to look after it and have seen the benefits from it?

I’m off to get a colonic next week. Last time I had them a good few years ago felt really good and went on to lose 3 stone

Actimel works perfect for me

keeps me regular, wake u[ in morning, have a cuppa then toilet needs done and sorted for rest of day.

Research is finding poor gut health is often a contributory factor in many conditions.

Makes sense to keep it on track but I don't think it is always as easy as just having a healthy diet, luckily there are easily obtainable food stuffs to assist.

I feel better for taking them then get complacent stop and back to square one.

I remember when this first came out and I didn't think much if it but now....

Part of your regular routine then....since starting have you ever gone without and noticed any difference?

I suffer from ibs and was told they can help. Honestly you should see what comes out that’s been stuck to your colon wall. Detox

My food diet has a mixture always eat something that helps release the toxins, whether it's eating or drinking might be why I still look good for my age and fit as a fiddle, it also helps promote a healthy circulation

I'm looking into what might help my stomach problems.

I've been following a low FODMAP, low fat diet for about a year. I'm now looking at probiotics to see if that will help.

I find a Kombucha carbonated drink I've been drinking doesn't give me a stomach ache but it's £1.89 a can.

Better than all the Cherry Lucozade I was drinking though.

I strongly believe my stomach problems are causing my panic attacks and causing me more arthritis pain.

I think it makes sense too, especially when you have felt the difference.

Gut health is incredibly important for a person's general well being and often not given enough emphasis by the medical establishment. I've know some people who regularly consume probiotic complexes to keep it healthy.

Yes, I have used regular but did stop when on holidays and stopping did not agree with my stomach.

Rather than having to go first thing in morning, I would find it was middle of day or any unpredictable time which was a nightmare finding a toilet, bearing in mind I was driving a road trip holiday.

Got home, back on Actimel and within a couple of days back to regular when wakening up.

It works for me.

I read to take between 30 and 50 billion at least.

One supplement had 100 billion.

Which vegetables do you use? Can you get napa cabbage?

I'm not supposed to eat garlic so that could be a problem.

It's not new, but it's becoming more popular. Maybe because more people are having stomach problems.
