Gateway to the Beacons

What is your preference in photography, B&W or colour

I posted two pics earlier one of each which do you prefer?

I like the timelessness of B&W but like the lighting of the colour.

Portsmouth

A bit of both, body shots are great in b&w, but I like to see faces in colour so I can check out people's eyes

Carlisle usually

Oh that depends entirely on the image itself and the vibe you want to convey.

Never used to like black and white but they are cool for highlighting certain aspects of a photo due to the shadowing and contrast. However, just black and white is a bit boring so quite like a mix of them

I prefer colour pics, it's 2023 not 1723.

I prefer the 24th December pic Mr Lan.

Huh, I kinda always liked it the other way around because I prefer body shots in colour but now you mention the eyes thing... I need a rethink

I get why people like B&W and arty shots, they're nice to look at it. When it comes to Fab though, I prefer simple, realistic, colour shots. Same as I'd rather look at the snaps people upload to reviews when I'm buying something, than what the marketing images look like.

Could always do the colour splash thing where it's black and white apart from the purple bellend when you're ripping the head off it

I actually really like it. It's one of my favourite types of pictures which I would definitely do more of if I knew how

I like both depending on the subject.

I have to say though, your pictures are really well composed

.

Black and white can look great sometimes but taking a photo of a flaccid cock being ch*ked by a well practiced death grip isn't suddenly artistic because you've discovered how to use filter.

Ooooohhhh I do love a monochrome pic but my hair is currently blue so I do like to show it off in all its glory.
