When we are sending a first message we'll generally send a face picture along with it. And we're far more likely to respond to new messages that do the same, it makes figuring out initial attraction a lot easier and there's no awkward back pedalling two weeks down the line when they finally send a face pic

I'd only send one if I have been chatting a bit and wanted to test any attraction. No point otherwise.

Sending one to me without mentioning and agreeing it first won't get you one in return.

Saying it's 'owed' gets you binned.

I now send one after a couple of messages. We're introduced, so then it's time to see if they're attracted to me while the connection isn't there yet as I've had where we've been messaging a while, I then send a face pic and the conversation stops. It feels shit so wouldn't let it get to that point again

9 times out of 10 I do send atleast one and I'm not overly fussed if I don't receive one back straight away but I do need one before we get onto chatting about meeting etc.

As for the last question, well I respect people's privacy and that it's got to earned. So no, if I get a good vibe then I'll always respond

I don’t really expect to receive one unless we are actually talking meeting. Obviously if you’ve been chatting a while it is nice to know who you are talking to, but not essential to me unless we plan on meeting.

We have our face pictures public anyway but we’d want to see face pictures after the first few messages. There’s no point in messaging back and forward only to find out there’s no attraction.

I don't send one when I send a first message I also don't expect to receive one. And someone sending me a face pic doesn't have any bearing on whether I answer a message or not. Their profile the message and if they have read my profile and not ignored what I say in it or my filters will determine if I answer or not.

I ask politely for people to send one with their first msg. If they don't, I ask them to read the profile. If they still don't, they get deleted.

That's where the attraction lies for me, not the rest of their body, certainly not their dick.

Just to add, I think if there is an initial connection which prompts to easy and exciting message exchange it is good to get it out if the way fairly early. Saves awkward rejections down the line if face attractions matters to someone.

I don't send messages and haven't done in 3 years so the answer to the first part of your query is no.

I normally only share facepics with those I've already agreed to meet.

Very few conversations I have on here have a sexual liaison as the ultimate goal and as a result I've chatted to people for weeks and months without every knowing what each other looked like.

I don't expect anyone to send me a pic.

I avoid profiles that demand it.

I never expect a face pic back when send unprompted, but if someone has asked for mine then I'd expect it to be returned.
