Do you add boiling water to the tin or the tin to boiling water??

I put one spoon of Costa coffee in a mug with a sachet of instant cappuccino coffee, one sugar a little dash of milk, honey and hot water. Mixed and drank it.

It tastes nothing like my local Costa coffee shop.

East London

If they sold the good stuff to make at home no one would bother using the cafés.

Would they.

Invest in a proper bean to cup machine and get fresh roasted beans - ive had over 6000 cups from mine in the last 5 or so years - how much would that have cost you in the shop??

And you sound surprised why with the ingredients you’ve described

I know but it tasted like gandy flip flop, so I had to add some pizzazz

So much better than instant.

My machine has a timer so a pot is ready when I get up in the morning and the smell is so good.

Instant Coffee rarely tastes like it's fresh bean to cup counter part.

Remember when you go to Costa it is espresso coffee that then has freshly steamed, frother or textured milk added to it, unless it's an americano that uses hot water.

My bean to cup has a milk frother…. Hardly use it though just heated milk instead. Tastes way better than instant as long as w buy fresh roast beans too

I’ve only ever had hot chocolate and lattes from Costa, we have the tinned Costa coffee at home but obviously can’t compare, I have a spoon of Demerara sugar I like it.

Replaced our espresso machine with a bean to cup version last year and it saves so much time!

Wirral

I put the coffee in, add a little hot water to stir the coffee in and mix it. Then add milk and pop into the microwave for 2-3 minutes. And when it starts to boil remove and give a good stir
