this isnt a rant ok, its the 3rd time on fab now its happened to me, im an easy going guy and dont have a particular age range of ladies i hope to meet ? 18 to 99 i dont mind as long as they have a fun outlook, but why is it after a couple of days chatting on here and txting, the young ladies ask for a 10 pound top up on there mobiles, do they think were all gullible and desperate for a shag ? i know if i did top up, i woudnt haer from them again, just wondered if any other older guys been duped and fallen for for it ?????

I really wouldn't worry about it, I had a MF couple trying to get me to reveal my Facebook account without seeing some sort of proof that they're genuine. No photos, verifications (yes I realise I have none either.

Stuff like this will always happen unfortunately.

I'm not sure it's fair to pin point this to just young women, I have a partner, I wouldn't dream of asking someone else to pay for something. don't get me wrong if a meet brings a bottle of wine or a box of chocs it's nice but we've never asked them to. we have however had older men ask us to pay their fuel or hotel for the night.....what you need to remember is sex sells, if escorts think they can get away with being on here and gaining anything they'll give it a go.

There had been plenty of examples of greed, usually from female, who expected to be wined, dined, gifted, and only meet at posh hotels etc...

Some people were gullible and desperate enough to fall for their alleged charm and agreed to their conditions.

as i said its happened 3 times now, and all have been young ladies looking for experienced older guys ? if i didnt match there criteria, i wouldnt contact them, ive had plenty of fun in my time on fab with sexy mature ladies and none of them have ever made any money demands on me

once mentioned to a "LADY" on here that no one would meet and I might have to swallow my pride and go onto a site and look for a girl who i would pay. She then came back to me and asked how much I was looking to pay and when I told her the rates they were charging she said if I paid her double she would meet me , then she threw in a hard luck story and was looking for £500 with no mention of meeting my needs, nor how she would pay me back . Blocked her quick .

maybe you should contact their previous meets and ask how it went first?

out of 6 set up meets 1 actually turned up, 2 wanted some form of money be it fuel or hotel payments and 3 just stopped all contact on the day so we all have some bad experiences, yours with young couples, ours with older men, seems every group's of people and age range has their down sides.

I dont see this as individual girls, I _iew this as a scamming company, setting up profiles and then using the 'top up' as a way of getting more out of you, using the phone for reverse billing etc etc?

I would never pay for anything, as many have said, if I wanted to pay, there are plenty of other places I could go to do just that and not have to go on the charm offensive to get it. Anyone who asks for anything in advance on here would be given a very wide berth!

I include a hotel room up to 50 GBP in my monthly "play" budget, along with a tank of petrol, and sufficient for a film, popcorn and a KFC next to the cinema.

I like to pay my own way. This way, I don't feel I owe the gent anything.

If I cannot afford to pay, I don't play, simple.

Hence last year was a bit lean as I needed to get a trailer in order to continue to go camping the way I liked to.

My feet are not as fast as they were but I move better than I did when I was younger because I am much less self conscious.

Seriously the majority of young girls on here with older guys are doing it for financial gain nothing more as for the guys they are just looking for a ego boost as they are screwed up. I've had first hand experience of this looking back just makes me laugh now falling for the guy bit like a mushroom kept me in the dark fed me shit!! Then he moved on to the younger girl who stated she wanted a rich older guy!! Funny but he isn't rich at all he's only got a title bought on eBay ha ha ha. So guess in the end I've had a bit of luck him moving on and me having the last laugh. But please note I said majority not everyone!

Like you, I had the sense not to send any money/top up but I'm sure that plenty of other guys have been conned
