Duck-billed platypus are not as big as I thought

But, they are only around 50cm long.

My (grown up) daughter thought that King Penguins were the size of humans. It took her a while to get over the disappointment. Hope you are OK OP

On a similar note, The Kukaburra bird is larger than expected. It looks like a Kingfisher so thought it was the same size!
