There's an awful lot of modern gadgets and technology purporting to make our lives easier and streamlined, but I can't help but feel some of its just another layer of inconvenience in life.

I now have to convince a robot, that I'm not a robot, by ticking a box

What modern stuff do you really not see the point of?

I agree I don’t alway think it’s easier - automation of house stuff eg lights, the switches are there and they work so just press them!! I feel that with a fault you end up with a lot of issues making life more stressful

I agree I don’t alway think it’s easier - automation of house stuff eg lights, the switches are there and they work so just press them!! I feel that with a fault you end up with a lot of issues making life more stressful "

I work in automation for industry and I feel exactly the same way about domestic gadgets. A switch works just fine so I don’t have any of that home automation stuff at home.

Tick the box and….click all the squares with a traffic light in them. I ticked the bloody box, what more do you want?!
