Does anyone chat to people without verifications? I’ve had a few guys message recently with no veris and they’ve become offended when I’ve said I prefer verified accounts only. Am I the only one?

Yeah I meet and chat with people with no verification's,it doesn't mean they aren't on the level,you get a feel for this as you chat to them over time

We have even met men/couples who weren't verified. Everyone has to start somewhere, right?

We just spoke overtime and when the time was right and felt comfortable to meet, we did.

always happy to chat to anyone i know we all have to start somewhere but dubious if they have been on for months and not been photo verified and got no pics on profile and have a full or hidden friends list and how much effort they have put into making their profile interesting,,

I've met more without veris than with, but whether they have them or not, most of the single guys I've met have been very sexually selfish, so I think they're actually pretty misleading.

I do, when I was single some of the nicest people I met weren't verified, I was strict and made sure they were who they said they were before we met, but it didn't stop me from talking to them.

We don’t really care about veris just to talk to people. If we’re arranging a meet we’d like some sort of verification that they’re genuine though. FaceTime call between the ladies or something similar

I chat to non verified. Get a feel for them, you can usually tell if they are genuine, and we all have to start somewhere. I think if they moan they cant get verified then something is up, socials are so easy to meet and get verified.

Thanks for all the replies guys. It’s more the ones that have been on for over a year, have no veris, no pictures and not verified by fab that I’m dubious about. I have had some lovely conversations with people unverified. Like some of you have said we all have to start somewhere and I don’t have loads myself but it’s more a security thing for me. I’d rather have them at least fab verified and pictures for safety.

If a profile has been active for more than a month without the photo verification we all have to do we are very wary as it’s something that takes so little time. It’s the same for profile picture we aren’t fans of the silhouette esp if there’s no others on the profile. Social and meet veris are different.

Until last year I didn't filter out unverified people but at the same time I didn't seek them out.

I don't send messages so all conversations are initiated by others.

A woman contacted me last year claiming to be a casual acquaintance of someone I had verified and after just a handful of messages she then contacted someone else I had verified and warned them off by telling them they were holding me back.

When challenged she became abusive and resorted to body shaming.

I now believe this unverified woman was actually a second profile set up by someone I had rejected because of the way she attacked my friend and attempted to drive a wedge between us.

For that reason alone I no longer engage with anyone who isn't verified but even those who are will still be scrutinised before chatting.

Plenty people chat and meet without verifications.

Im sure it puts plenty people off too but I've found being consistent on the forum and chatting for longer times before arranging a meet usually gets over that.

It certainly impacts the ability for a short notice meet. But tinder fills that gap

It varies. Some don’t like many verifications like mine. Even a bit unkind sometimes as I don’t have pictures as was abused. Others seem to enjoy reading and talking about fun have had and can have. My main thing is have to respect what like or not and this has to be fun for all. If get to meet lots of fun even if just for drinks

I put no stock in verification at all

Put it this way I got stood up 2x buy a guy

Who has over 300 odd verifications

He has verification from a lot off big clubs profiles and is knowing for hosting tv/ts party’s at his home

All those verifications didn’t stop him from standing me up

Yes, this is the key. If someone is relatively new with no veris then fair enough, we’re happy to chat. But if someone has a webcam veri from five years ago, then that’s a very different matter.

We’re not unkind, far from it, we will chat and say we would look to meet once verified if there’s attraction, totally understand we all start with none but we just don’t want to chance having our time wasted, plus by the time we finish chatting most have got verified anyway as we seem to chat forever

I think yet again it's a female safety net that has been woven by fab....to a degree I understand the need but to live and die by it is a mistake...you might miss the person of your dreams just because he/she isn't verified.

We are talking more than just photo verified??

I've also ended conversations when people haven't had veris and I've had a bit of an off vibe from them, but it was the off vibe that did it rather than the lack of veris.

Phone calls, video calls etc. I've been known to do a test photo request as well asking them to do or have something random in a picture. If theure not will to do any of those then it's a nope from me

No verifications could just mean a new profile but not new to the scene. But equally everyone’s got to start somewhere so until someone gives you a reason to doubt them then give it a whirl.

Some people don’t like lots of verifications, but that also doesn’t give an accurate portrayal as if you attend clubs you’ll meet lots of people and as such you’ll accumulate lots of veri’s.

I decide on a case by case basis. If there are red flags for other reasons then no. But I have been known to take a punt on new, unverified guys... Afterall, sometimes veris aren't worth the virtual paper they are written on and if no one ever met an unverified person then we'd all be in a bit of a pickle on here!

It's a shame more women and couples don't share your view. Many won't give a single guy the time if day if we arnt meet verified. But if they won't meet unverified guys, how do we get meet verified?

Verifications can be made up, I have experienced this personally btw.

I use my own judgement if there are none at all / none on show just the same as I use it when there are some to read.

We all have to start on here somewhere. But there are things we can do to show we are genuine. ie photo verification. Live photos on kik or snap if the chat goes that way.

We will chat to an unverified but if they can't to the basics to show they are genuine then the red flags go up.

I’m sure there are lots of genuine guys who got put off Fab by the fact that very few people are willing to take a chance on an unverified account. I’ve been here over a month and have photo verified myself along with sending messages and chatting in the forums but still no reply or interest from any ladies or couples.

I’m not looking for violins bits it’s really tough being an unverified guy.
