Best thing you've ever bought in a pound shop

Yeah I know they're not everything £1 any more, but they used to be.

What's your best buy? The greatest bargain that was delicious or that you still use?

I bought 6 cake forks and a cake server for £1 about 9 years ago. A suggestion from a friend at work. They work great as cutlery for small hands. Worked well for all 3 kids. Cheaper than actual kids cutlery.

How about you?

That's very impressive, clearly don't live near the coast. I tried two both lasted a couple of minutes

Pound shops used to be great for tools and decorating supplies. But prices have gone up the quality gone down. So best to stick with the chocolate there now.

I actually bought kids cutlery that I use for work.

People would rather do without than use them so they've never gone missing and I always have a knife fork and spoon.

The knife is blunt but it's never a steak dinner I'm tucking into on my lunch half hour

Bavarian slices in the pound bakery but they have near doubled in price this year, thinking about it there’s nothing for a pound in there, maybe Santa brought them a new sign for Christmas and it will be called the two pound bakery now

Poundland had a decent gaming keyboard, mouse and mat. Bundled them with a gaming build and was well received. Not a pound but bargain.
