It is the last day of the year and I will celebrate it with my parents, we will have new years dinner later then watch jools holland and snack on a cheese board and then we will watch the firework from the balcony and have some wine. I got the haribos ready. I wish you all a happy new year

Having worked in Hospitality / Licensing (until my last job ending in late 2020 & I've since retired), I worked every New Year's Eve for over 35 consecutive years!

I worked my socks off, to ensure everyone else enjoyed themselves!

Tonight will be my 3rd NYE in a row, by myself, when I can see in the New Year, in my own quiet way.

In my view, I really cannot comprehend how and why everyone goes overboard with the excitement of a New Year!

Maybe working every single one for years has dulled my senses!
