"( Mr) Don’t blame him to be honest it’s a short career so made his future secure, who wouldn’t if you had that talent " exactly said it before say it again, he's an extremely fit 37 year old he wants to play not sit on the bench and he can get paid the big bucks, it is ridiculous how much he gets but he's got 2 or 3 years left, why not

"€200m a year to kick a ball in a farmers farmers league. The World has gone mad. " The World hasnt gone mad, just the people who spend all their wash watching, viewing and supporting football. The team, the players dont know the fans, dont care about the fans, but still happily try to take every penny from them. Football is a business and it now solely exists to take every penny of cash it can take from so called fans. Who's the fool?

Football clubs don't exist on fan income at the elite level. You do know this right?

Although the owners can’t be defended at Newcastle, the group of players and manager we have now really do care about the fans.

"175 million " How many years on his contract? There's no way that whichever team bought him seriously thinks they can recoup that on merch. Pure excess..

I can’t remember where I read it, but there was a point when United didn’t need to have fans in the stadium each week. The cost of staffing it etc, doesn’t make them much money. Behind closed doors is just the same. And probably for most elite clubs getting there profits from everywhere else. The money is not earns from the games themselves any more. Look at the cash prize for the domestic cups. It’s little to what they get in other areas of the ‘business’.

"Arbs have been buying sports for years This is probably a test drive to see And if it works out they be the biggest league in 2-3 years time They bought MMA pritty much with the ufc fight island deal The have bought power lifting Larry wheels is over there They started move in to arm wrestling with Larry also They bought them selfs a event on the F1 calendar with abu dhabi track If this gose well watch them start snapping up all the talent to stupid money Arb oil money " I agree with what you’re saying but they’ll never be the biggest league unless they some how expand the Champion’s League to an international competition. China tried it, I think India did too but players will always want to play in Europe.
