He, Homer I had to let go "passed away" lass month.

He Max was rescued out the back of an RTC beginning of the first lock down and the police where going to leave him tied to a fence, so we fosted him. But the Driver that had a stroke at the wheel did not make it, so he is still hear as next of kin did not want a German Shepherd, nor did I to be fair but I can't see an animal suffer

Between rescuing him 8 years ago and losing him earlier this year, he chewed 37 pairs of my shoes...yes, I learnt quickly to put them out of his reach, but despite being 60+kg he could climb like a bloody mountain goat when he wanted to

My old girl once jumped into the passenger seat of a police car, over the policeman sat in the drivers seat....all 60kg of her, the poor policeman nearly shit himself

Obviously nobody has told my boy that one.

I’d heard the north / sough alignment story but having observed him many times I’ve come to the conclusion he has no sense of direction whatsoever.

Either that or our back garden is in some weird space time continuum where it changes direction

One of my two rescue dogs, Jinx, has bitten me 13 times since i got her in March.

She was adopted as an 8month old puppy from Romania. Went to the wrong home for 2yrs, where she was beaten, never groomed, only walked twice a week on a short lead attached to a pram, never walked on grass, never mixed with other dogs, and was underfed.

Her original name was Lottie, but she didnt respond to that.

She eventually bit the female owners child round the face (only scratched it).

The original adoption agency needed an emergency foster parent, so i volunteered.

In the first month, i thought id made a mistake. She was so full on, and snappy.

Now? Ive taken her on full-time. And she's my shadow. Im so proud of how much she's improved, and what a loving member of the family she has become.

Mines a Beagle 3 now but still as crazy as a bag of spanner’s. He lives for food and is a constant scavenger and he always does a pre wash on the plates in the dishwasher. A royal pain in the butt but we love him( most of the time)
