Prostatitis

Just having another bout of prostatitis the second time in the last couple of months. Back on antibiotics for 6 weeks. Anyone else get this

Sounds as if it's something connected with the prostate gland ..... I don't get prostatitis. I really do hope you recover soon.

Inflammation of prostate gland caused by urinary tract infection. It's exclusive to men.

Can be very uncomfortable but is easily treated & occasionally even goes away by itself. I've never had it myself but it's not uncommon amongst males.

OP if this is recurring thing you may need to consider changing your diet. Things like dairy & some types of meat can increase the chances of getting this issue.

It is chronic with me ,seen the Dr on antibiotics and painkillers at the moment.

I have cut down on the booze ages ago,don't have caffeine .

My prostate is enlarged plus a overactive bladder,Psa done a couple of weeks ago all good

Drink more water do you dring 4 pints or more a day when you can and less coffee and stop Alcohol
