As today is my fifth day in work got in work expecting to do a full thirteen hour shift supervisor has just spoken to me all his meetings and calls emails done by 14.00

So he said I can go home at 15.00 and still get payed for the whole shift

You could look at that another way and say:

“Your little win is that you haven’t had to get out of bed, so you had a lovely lie in. Lucky cow!”

It is all very well getting the little wins, not very good if you don’t recognise them though!

My little win is that. Though I have been laden with s horrible cold and chesty cough over Christmas, I feel slightly better today than I did yesterday!
