It's not nice

Anyone have advice on how best to deal with it? I was just given painkillers, which don't seem to kill the pain much...

According to Google it is often treated with antibiotics to clear the infection so maybe it’s worth going back? Good luck with it!

Yeah, they are so reluctant to give out antibiotics these days, so I'm not sure what to do. I guess I'll have to give it a few days and then go back and say it's worse...
