Belting it out

Jump to newest

By (user no longer on site) OP

Forever (forever), forever ('ever)

You'll stay in my heart and I will love you

Forever (forever), and ever (ever)

We never will part, oh, how I love you

Together (together), together (together)

That's how it must be

To live without you would only mean heartbreak for me

I do love belting out a belter. It’s even more fun when Tones does it with me.

What’s a belter you can’t resist belting out? Dare you do it with someone else or only when you’re alone?

M

Ah you.

I love my kitchen karaoke as you know.

I have Brand New Day by Sting popping in my head now.

"I'm the present to your future (stand up)

You're the wound and I'm the suture (it's a brand new day)

You're the magnet to my pole

I'm the devil in your soul (stand up)

You're the pupil, I'm the teacher

You're the church and I'm the preacher (it's a brand new day)

You're the flower, I'm the rain

You're the tunnel, I'm the train (stand up)

All you lovers in the world, yeah

Stand up and be counted, every boy and every girl

Stand up all you lovers in the world, yeah, yeah

We're starting up a brand new day..."

Funny you should mention him. One of his albums bore the same name as my nickname at school, albeit it wasn’t what inspired it.

Bexley

I'm trying desperately to recall the song I always belt out while passage making in my sea kayak way offshore in glorious summer time.

It's always the same song and when I'm out there it comes straight to me but for the life of me I can't recall it seated now at my laptop table!

I'd like to think it is something from my rock repertoire but it could equally be a sea shanty.
