I got a soup maker for Christmas.

If I knew how to make soup would I even need a soup maker? I personally think there’s too many gadgets on the go. (Coffee makers, teas maid (70s original) slow cookers, rice cookers… list is endless) however I have made soup on the occasion I’m not sure I need a gadget for it, not to mention find a home for it in the kitchen, and it’s just another thing to clean! Maybe it will end up like the brownie maker I got last year…. Sat all year in a wardrobe til it ended up as an item in a raffle

I like uncomplicated soup, like leek n tattie not vichyssoise

I do quite like butternut squash soup but that’s a nightmare to cut….
