I rarely make a new years resolution because time has proved to me that I don't keep them. . Maybe this year I should resolve to make a resolution

.

I don't really make them because it feels like a lot of pressure. And kind of silly.

But I am this year. I'm going to be a bit more open about how I really feel about things. Say yes more frequently without worrying about others. Put myself first more. See, it sounds so... self focused, no?

Well maybe 2023 will be the year you make one that you keep it or you could pick something that you started this year and you’d like to continue doing

Yeah that’s fair.

That’s good that you’re making one For me personally, I regret the things I didn’t do because you learn from the things that you did do. Sometimes you need to do what you think it right not what others think is right because you can’t please everyone, no matter how hard you try. Maybe but you’ll learn more about what you want out of life and be better for it.

Learn to put myself first… it’s something I’m not very good at as it always smacked of selfishness. But this year has proved to me on more than one occasion that it’s alright to say ‘no… that’s not ok’.

So that… and to meet more people and have more fun

Mine is just to be more proactive. I've not been well and although mainly its physical a lot of it has been mental. If I can just get myself into a positive mindset I think things can and will only get better. I need and want to find "me" again ... I miss her everyone does

Sounds like a great plan to me.

That's very true. I think that although I'm not a people pleaser, I do tend to do things that will keep others happy. Keep schtum on things that make me unhappy because for some odd reason (hi childhood) I place more value on their happiness than my own. And that's not quite right. A wise man told me this morning I'll soon be in the prime of my life and shouldn't regret opportunities not taken. So I'm saying yes to more things in 2023. Even if some might not be the best decision.

I'm going to take FAB and other social media platforms off my mobile phone and just look at them on laptop.

Remove Facebook and go to loads of socials, parties, holidays.

Try to get back to before Covid days, we're almost there, one final push.

Got so much planned for January and February as a start.

Our last holiday has done us both a power of good, meeting so many more people face to face.

It's more just do it, don't think about it too much.

So looking forward to 2023.

Best wishes to all.
