Any hints and tips, suggestions for a decent opening message? I always try to be personal and in response to the profile buy doesn't seem to get noticed and rarely get any replies.

Wondered if being more direct and blunt has a better response?

Looking at your profile, perhaps explain within why you do not accommodate otherwise ladies will assume you are married, and that can be a no go for a lot of women, no matter how good your first message is. Happy searching.

Doesn't have to be war and peace just a quick introduction.

For us the opening message could be a simple "hello" it is what follows that is important. All to often when we reply we get the impression that the original messenger wants us to do all the running with them responding with one or two word answers. When that happens we quickly lose interest and move on.

Always read a profile in full and maybe comment on a line or phrase contained therein.

Shows you have made an effort, took the time, rather than just a trawl through loads.

Don't pester, no reply means no thanks.

Look at our profile and send us a message you feel is pertinent.
