Who else was ill over Xmas?

Today is the 1st day I have felt slightly normal since 24th.

My Xmas dinner was a small childs portion which I just about managed.

Sods law to be ill of all days when there is alot of food and drink on the table.

If you were ill like me I hope you are getting better and lets get back to it x

I've had a stinking cold for 8 days now. No sign of it getting better. Two of the kids have it and my husband is starting to cough as well. It's not been the greatest Christmas break so far

Everyone barr me and my daughter have been ill over the christmas period.

We now only have 1 man down so the household is getting back normal slowly.

Yep... been hooked up to a blood pressure monitor since the 23rd when it went from my usual "just about got enough oomph to keep you functioning" to "fuck that, your bruises from the car accident were fading, have some more and hope you like the floor".

I feel like crap and have done since then but so far haven't conked out again yet.

Hope you feel better soon OP. And everyone else who is ill.

I'm asthmatic so have had loads of chest infections ,I can tell with the cough ,the fever and the aches.

Sadly I only started with it when the docs were closed ,so just rest ,gargling salt water and painkillers is all I've been doing.

OK thanks coughing that much it now hurts not felt this bad for a long time

We were ill in the week before Christmas, with norovirus (including on Christmas Eve). We didn't feel up to eating much on Christmas Day, so we did Christmas Dinner yesterday instead. Now we're feeling better, the Canarian weather has gone on holiday and we're confined to barracks again

Yes we've both had it for over a week now, been a right crap one!! Doesn't feel like it's going away either, not really been in the mood for much celebrating.. Hope everyone feels better soon xx

I started on 16th, today is the first day I’ve woken up not feeling awful! Also now passed it on to my kids which has gone down like a dog shit sandwich. Felt worse than I did with covid
