Are men and female really compatible? Obviously creation. However; both typical genders seem to not get the other way of thinking. Men do not seem to open up as much to their partners as they do to their male mates etc. It seems females hold lot of power of their body (only fair) which they use at times to control situations.

Normal decent people of both sexes get on well together.

Sadly, there's still an awful lot of misogyny and some women are still willing to use their body to get what they want.

How does how you look affect compatibility, which is personality driven? You might fancy someone but be completely incompatible.

For what it's worth, I think women and men can be compatible. We think differently (generally speaking), but no reason why a man and woman couldn't have lots in common and be friends etc without it being sexual, or have I missed your point, OP?

I think so, I had lots of male friends in my younger years and still do, not talking sexual and I’d probably say I get on better with guys than women, much prefer the scouts than the girl guides kind of person, guy stuff as always been more fun to me

Of course women hold power over their body. Men also possess that agency as well - that choice to show respect to themselves and not not jump through hoops nor see women as controlling situations because they don't want to be dicked.

And of course men and women are compatible. It's about finding that person who is compatible with you. My oldmandfriend is crap at communication (not always before you read this and cry). Awful at it at times. But then you learn and grow together as a pair with another person.

Even when it comes to friendship, you can form them with the opposite gender. You learn and understand another person, not their gender role.

Yes men and women can be compatible. Has to be the right man and woman, if the connection is there then the understanding of each other will be there.

Communication in a relationship works both ways, some women are known not to open up to their partners, isn't just some men. I really think the important key is the connection. If there is no connection then a person is surely not going to fully open to the other?

Women do hold a lot of power of their bodies but again this can be said of men....both sexes have 100% control of their own bodies which is only right but to say that it is only women who use their bodies to control a situation is wrong as men have been known to do this too.

As others have said, this isn't a gender thing, it's a people thing. Since school I've always had more male friends than female, and to this day I can't fathom why a lot of women think and act the way that they do, it just seems completely alien to me. But obviously there are people of all genders that I'm either compatible or not compatible with, it's them as a person I'm concerned with, not their genetalia.

OP, I'm going to take you second post first... a man only has to look the certain way that any individual woman wants him to in order to be attractive to that woman. By which I mean, of course, that women are all different and find different things/looks/shapes/sizes etc and different men attractive to them. Often at different times.

And as for are men and women compatible... we are all people. Different people are compatible in different ways, regardless of gender, and the willingness to bend, compromise and accept each other for the parts that we aren't necessarily directly compatible on is one very important part of making a relationship (be it as acquaintances, friends or more) work well.

If any of this were definitive, then we wouldn't have society as we know it. Not getting how people think isn't a gender specific thing, it's an everyone thing. Generally speaking, we can only relate and understand things we've experienced. So how can men and women understand gender specific issues? But that extends across the whole spectrum of humanity.

If you're talking about relationship compatibility, both parties have to be open and vulnerable with each other to create a bond and trust.

Not sure what you mean about controlling situations with their bodies? If you mean not wanting sex then maybe the lack of emotional intimacy could be a factor..
