Covent Garden

Gentlemën, Ladiës, Binariës and Whateveriës...

For those of you who delight in scented candles have you graced your abodes with your favourite festive candle (or scented seasonal oil)?

I have mine burning beside me, flickering, wafting and enveloping the autumnal chill around me.

I always have little candles in coloured glass jars. I dont think any off them are smellies though sadly.

Since candles are rarely lit, because my brain likes to forget them...I have one of those automatic aerosol dispensers. The lavender one just ran out so I replaced it with mulled wine with clementine and spice.

Flat smells like clementines during winter anyway because that's all the fruit I eat in December.

"Diptique Feu de Bois "

Classy...I'm too cheap to buy it for myself. I do give and get expensive gifts for regular long-term lovers.

Going to get FWB a vibrating waterproof prostate massager...that'll blow his mind. Lol!

Oh I had one of those one year. It took me the whole year to get through because I'm too often absent-minded to light candles. They are nice as a self-present or other gift.

My favourite Diptyque is "Coing". I think it's discontinued. At least I haven't seen it around for years.

"Figuier" is also quite notable.

Not really a fan of the Christmas scents... My current fave is Sand and Fog - Teakwood

I've got a mulled wine one and an evergreen one. There's tons of other Christmas ones scattered around but no idea what scent they are. They smell nice, that's all I care about

I like perfumed candies but can no longer light them as the dog has terrible flatulence and last year the net curtains caught fire.

Haven’t been able to get it since before covid as the lady in the shop I got it from said she couldn’t get it again. I’ve not even seen it. Only light them at Christmas even though I love the scent.

Tonypandy.

Upstairs. Black coconut

Downstairs. Chocolate cherry

Back bathroom. Something that smells like brandy

So basically the house smells like black Forrest gateau

I bought a cinnamon and orange light up candle from M&S.

I've had it on one evening but I'm saving it until after Christmas as it only has an 8 or 10 hour burn time.

The glass has a silhouette of a village scene on and it has little lights that illuminate it.

It's Christmas Eve...

Keep those candles burning, keep that wick trimmed, let the seasonal wax ooze to the max.

Someone from the forums past once gave me one that had the scent of pencil sharpenings. That was lovely, but when I woke the next day, I had a panic as I thought I was late for school.

I bought a gorgeous Imogen’s Luxuries Christmas diffuser and put it in my hallway in early December. Coming home to that scent has made me smile to myself so many times. I need to get a life, I know

I just had to Google™ this.

If the flame is frolic'ing in its wick today then it's unquestionably festive.
