The Big Smoke

The Tanqueray 0% gin is the best one and Kopparberg ciders 0% taste exactly the same as the alcohol ones. The best wine we sell is probably the Hardys one but tbh it’s still not great. In beers you’re spoilt for choice. I would say the Heineken and San Miguel ones are the best.

Hope that helps OP and it’s just from my little off licence

Nosecco is quite nice. As a teetotaller I’ve never tasted Prosecco, but the Nosecco is palatable.

Nosecco is wholly convincing. I felt mildly tipsy after drinking it.

Heineken 0% is probably the best of the alcohol-free beers.

Agree about the cider. That's what I usually drink. Can't tell the difference.

As a designated driver, I was drinking alcohol free, when one of the gang commented: "Alcohol free? It's like going down on your sister. Tastes the same, but you know there's something not quite right!"

Nosecco gets my vote too.

Looks and tastes so good, you really do feel like you are not missing out at all and it's cheap!

No real friend would encourage you in this pursuit…

This is like vegan sausage and kissing your siblings, it’s OK but not exciting.

I don't drink lager, but Heineken Zero is actually really good!

I do drink Guinness, and Guinness Zero is difficult to tell from the alcoholic version

I kind of resent the price of most alcohol substitutes! I'd rather just have juice or water.

Always remember used to work with a guy that had a shall we say "certain" way the words. He described non alcohol beer as follows

"Its like going down on your sister, tastes the same but you just know its wrong"

just around the corner

Three Spirit non-alcoholic spirits are most excellent. They're a flavour all of their own and contain adaptogens, lion's mane, etc. Livener, Social Elixir, Nightcap are the three flavours.

Well worth a try if you're looking for an ethically sourced more unusual non-alcoholic tipple!

Ps. I do not work in their sales department
