Hated them as a kid, then watched a TV show a few months ago where they were on a farm that produces sprouts and the presenter said that the bitterness had now been bred out of sprouts and they were now a much sweeter taste

So I decided to try them again and ............ they still taste the fucking same, awful

This is genius. I loathe the embittered, dwarvish cabbages myself, but always ate them precisely to prevent fussy eating in my son. I could have eaten a hundred fewer over the years. Kicking myself. But Sprout Purgatory ends now!

Thank you.

Send them Back to brussels… illegal sprouts coming over here in boats and robbing good hardy english sprouts of their jobs - claiming all the gravy that should be for english sprouts….. and we should rename ‘ the turkey’ as ‘the english’ while we’re at it!!! Don’t get me started on German carrots!!!

About 50% of people have a gene that enables them to taste a chemical similar to phenylthiocarbamide that sprouts contain. Those who can't taste it generally like them. I love them.
