Feels like I swallowed a bag of glass, what are the lounge's recommendations?

No, I'm not gargling man fat, Jizz, spunk, or any other name for baby glue and man gravy.

I eagerly await the Forum Dr's response

I have watched every episode of ER so I know what I'm on about. Eat a bag of ready salted crisps and drink hot water with honey and lemon.

Throat sprays are great for instant pain relief!

I like scratchy food if I’ve got a sore throat.

Hope it’s all better for the weekend !!

Tyrosets were the best!!! But i believe they have stopped making them now

Keep warm, lots or warm drinks, a hot toddy if you can, and no deep throating

"Feels like I swallowed a bag of glass, what are the lounge's recommendations?"

Oh dear, powdered glass, could be fatal poisoning.since the online medical help advises:

"Death may result from shock if the stomach or intestine is perforated."

Ignore whisky and honey, the online advice is:

"Give bulky food and later emetics and purgatives"

If this is to late, please advise where condolences can be sent.

Gargling with a 1:10 diluted mix of tcp and warm water, as long as you don’t vomit it will sort you out a treat

Manchester (she/her)

If it's really bad, Strepsils do lozenges that contain (I think) ibuprofen. Follow directions do not exceed dose etc.

Sipping mead (really!) helps, keeping hydrated, gargling mouthwash.

Ibuprofen if you are not restricted with other medication or conditions. A sore throat is inflamed, ibuprofen reduces inflammation.

As already mentioned, gargle with warm, salty water, a few times a day. The salt will draw moisture out of your oral tissues, and creates a salt barrier that prevents harmful pathogens from getting back inside.

Pure honey (2 tablespoons) mixed with a warm glass of water or tea. Drink a few times a day. Honey has s whole bunch of positive properties, including being anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiviral.

Good luck.

Cheeseville, Somerset

Scotch and lempsip. A pint of. In a hot bath, some eucalyptus aromatherapy candles lit, and with the extractor fan off so it's nice and steamy.

A
