That's already happening. There's a sizeable Ukranian community living on the Clyde in Glasgow just now. I don't know much about it, but it seems a decent temporary solution and I think people are happy in a way to be around others who speak the same language etc, but I hope they're being welcomed and helped to integrate outwith the ship too. There was a news story a couple of weeks ago about arts and music groups putting on clubs for the kids and helping them put together a Christmas show for all the residents.

The government intends to use any and all alternative accommodation for these people. Currently spending £7 million a day on hotels but there cannot be many hotel rooms left.Yesterday a report claimed some of our homeless were thrown out of a hotel to house new arrivals.

They will be allowed to come and go from the cruise ships,not held offshore

There are two cruise ships already being used for Ukrainan refugees in Scotland. Why not the can be very comfortable places and it could be easier to keep extended families together.

For a start they won't systematically and chronically underfund through NHS to justify quiet but progressive privatisation. The artifical increase in waiting times is a direct response to funding being cut across the board.
