Always loved his vocals on Do Nothing, such a melancholy song.

The lunatics are taking over the asylum.

Gangsters.

Our lips are sealed.

Ghost Town

I could be here for a while listing my favourites.

I'm still struggling with the news about his death I will admit to shedding a few tears today.

I can't think of any other song that captured the mood of the nation so perfectly as Ghost Town.

Ironically it's probably as relevant today as it was back then.

Lots from that era transfer to today

Gangsters as a live track from their gig in Amsterdam in 2019, even if just for the video that goes with it with all the headers in the crowd having a ball

The Lunatics, massively prophetic first verse

Lots of tracks to pick to be fair

I'm in a minority but I actually prefer the 2nd Specials album, more musically adventurous than the debut.

I'm really struggling with his death I think it's because he was the Voice of my youth I guess.

Not only that HE WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT

I like his version of "pure" which the Lightning seeds covered.

The album he did with Dave Stewart from the eurythmics is quite good, they called themselves "Vegas"

Has to be Ghost Town really, doesn’t it?

So many other great songs though, to back that up. Too Much Too Young. The Boiler. A Message to you Rudy. Our Lips Are Sealed.

So much going on it that song. Jerry Dammers is a musical genius, really sad he and Terry Hall never reconciled.
