Can you put on in a few days?

When I need to buy bigger hoodies that's not a good sign...

Just off to have some more pate on toast to cheer myself up.

Practical b1tch here.

An increase of at least 500 to 1000 calories each day will promote a one to two pound weight gain per week. It takes an extra 3500 calories to gain one pound of body weight.

Takes 3 days to gain it and 3 months to lose

Yes!!

I know full well it'll take a good few months to lose it all, that's just not fair.

If we were men, skip 2 meals and back to normal

Another reason men annoy me!!

We are not that bad... most of the time "

Have you also grown in height? Your top now appears slightly too short ;-P

"When I can’t breathe in my jeans and scared to weigh myself!

I know I’ve gained a good 7lbs then!

Takes 3 days to gain it and 3 months to lose

I always use my jeans as a guide on how much weight I’ve put on

Love it when it all spills over the waistband

If they restrict my breathing when I’m sitting down I know we’re in a bit of trouble

That’s why I’ve got leggings on

Leggings show too much, I'm in joggers! "

I think mine are joggers…. Just too tight

Not wanting to rub it in but I've lost a shed load of weight and am struggling to get any back on.

On a plus side I now fit back in the jeans that used to fit me when I came back from the gulf war some twenty years ago when I was at my prime.

Something that Harry Kane needs to be reminded about next time he takes a penalty.

From recent personal experience I can recommend a good two week bout of flu for a bit of weight reduction.

1lb bodyweight is roughly 3500 calories

500 extra calories a day and you’ll put on 1lb in a week

Bizarrely, I tend to lose weight on holiday because I'm very active, and I don't snack.

Surely we all need to put on weight anyway…..it’s fucking winter and the extra skin provides warmth against the winter cold!!

So for me I’m aiming to consume 7000 calories a day and gain a stone in a week

"Practical b1tch here.

An increase of at least 500 to 1000 calories each day will promote a one to two pound weight gain per week. It takes an extra 3500 calories to gain one pound of body weight."

a lot of the weight people speak about putting on in a short period will be water weight. every carb molecule stored by your body needs to be stored alongside 2 water molecules, so 2/3 of short term weight gain is water.

"Ooh pâté on toast

Sod it, it’s Christmas! Diet starts in January!

Love pate on toast!

This has been my breakfast all December. Sometimes along with a full English breakfast.

Do you add a jam?

errrr no.

I would sometimes add a red onion marmalade or chutney, but not jam. Is that what you mean?

Jam to Pate surely not"

Yes. it’s like chutney to cheese.
