I’ve recently started working out of my firms oxford office and wondered whether there were any fabbers local to meet up with or clubs to attend in the area. Also open to suggestions if things to do in the area?!

If you’re a culture vulture try the Ashmolean.

I like Oxford but my mind has gone blank as what to do there. We stayed at the mal maison which is an interesting hotel as it used to be a prison. We went to that posh hotel for breakfast where morse used to go. Plenty of museums and that library

Lots to do in Oxford - see the colleges, go to Ashmolean, breakfast at bank hotel, drive in the Cotswolds, go to the modern shopping centre (lots of restaurants)...for a small city ...has a lot going on...

You're young so my advice would be, infiltrate the student population Find out which is the most infamous student club night and go a couple weeks in a row. With some charm and luck you can make some connections for a more ... personal feel of the city

Also give the ice rink a glide!

That’s a good point, however most of the student clubs require a student ID to get into! Maybe if I shave my beard, I could pass lol. I’ll be sure to get on the dating apps.

No, I'm less than 5 miles away, though I admit I'm fresh out of helicopters.

I worked in Oxford a lot a few years back, during the summer. It’s a great place. Stayed in iffley (or something like that).

I went for a walk/ride along the themes quite often, go for a walk around town have a few drinks, always get talking to some random-ers.

There used to be a pro by the council yard that would alway flag me down and ask if I wanted any business, then ask for a lift in to town, I think it just turned in to a joke in the end (I would never not stop just incase it was something serious).

There was a nice big park by where I was staying, sometimes I’d just chill out on a park bench with headphone in or scroll through Facebook. The only thing I can remember going out of my way to see, there is a house with a shark sticking out of its roof. Like it’s fallen from the sky and landed in someone house.
