Does anyone else find it bloody crazy trying to get everything done at work?

I’m getting pulled all over the place - and not in a good way either!

Yes but that's because I'm ignoring my work load and sitting on here

Last week was my manic busy week. This week it seems people have started their Xmas leave and I am able to focus on other work items, thankfully.

I'm actually quite quiet but it's a great week to tell people you can't do anything as you're so busy- they all buy that shit !

It's bedlam in work but I'm loving it. I'll be knackered by Friday though.

Year end and financial year end are always manic for me but it's my favourite time because decisions tend to be made quickly which suits my impatient arse.

It’s crazy in my workplace, we are a charity supporting families and Christmas is especially busy for us. A very busy 10/11 hour shift for me tomorrow

Nah, there's been a freeze on new work until the new year and all my work is done apart from a few housekeeping bits

I've recently learned about this term and it's so fitting for my new attitude towards work

Would you like details of an exclusive technique which relieves you of the need to do occasional mouse wiggles yet will maintain your 'available' status in perpetuity?

The nightmare before Xmas I call it! Is only Monday and jam packed in work! Today they were friendly walking dead with the usual few exceptions! By Friday and even busier we shall see! Just got to get through next 4 days! And with stocks running low on alot of things can see trouble ahead! Our dept online picking we can start 2 hrs earlier at 2 in morn but I'm sticking to 4 am starts as I cycle in! And don't want to meet the pub zombies at 1 30! X

Outsource it to an automatic mouse-jiggler.

Quiet at work this week for me. Today I did my tax return, an online Tesco shop, surfing for potential holidays next year and a bit of Fabbing (whilst looking busy obvs)

For me the prelude to Christmas entails much ado about dithering, procrastination and just answering the odd superficial email.

It's already quiet at work; we have a change freeze and projects are being deferred or cancelled entirely.

I also use this time to abscond from my laptop and do some shopping or partaking in the café culture.

Tonypandy.

I'm working nights all over Christmas, so nothing has changed much except that there are less residents and more nice biscuits.
