Rain or Snow?

Which do you prefer?

I myself would rather have snow rather than rain as I've never liked rain.

Sure snow can cause problems when it comes to traffic and the slippery ice but it is nice to see especially around Christmas time.

As for rain, like I said, I've never liked it. It soaks you to the bone in minutes leaving you walking around in wet clothes until you get home, it makes everything look miserable and depressing outside and it can put a damper on planned days out. The only upside is you're glad to be not out in it.

Snow.

Specially out of the city. Sure it brings its problems but a bit of joy too.

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters

Love both. Love a good thunderstorm. But also love snowfall, the slow, soft and gentle kind with the large flakes.

.

I love the clean, crisp effect snow leaves. Everything seems more pure, idyllic. Like a perfect tableau of the halcyon days.

But after? No, sod that.

Rain I adore. I like kissing in the rain, long walks in the rain. The happiness of splashing through puddles, of not caring if you're soaked through. In Barbados the rain is brief, warm and refreshing during the hotter seasons (let's not talk about monsoon time). If I'm feeling really ND overwhelmed, going out in the rain helps me in a very Learesque way.

No snow for me unless I am skiing please. Rain is easier to manage unless it is also windy which I hate.

Snow - but nice thick, white, fluffy snow you can sledge in. Not the 3 inches of slush we had this week.

It can snow once I've finished work for the year but until then I'd much rather rain over cold dry frosty mornings.

Snow

When it's fresh it makes everything look wonderful and clean.

When it goes slushy then snow then it looks a mess.

Also I love making snow people and snowball fights and watch the snow fall. X

I agree. Snow makes everything look amazing. The trees, the snow on top of rooftops. I love it

The Big Smoke

As long as I’m sat inside by a roaring fire with a gorgeous playmate I don’t mind either

You know rain and snow are the same thing right, just in different forms.

I'd rather have rain as it doesn't stop me going anywhere nor does it cause as many problems as what snow does. We suffered badly with the snow when the Beast from the East' hit us. Never want a repeat of that.

East London

Depends how cold it is when it rains.

I love how snow makes everything pristine; especially at night when it glistens, and how the air feels cleaner to breathe.

There's a kind of ethereal calm after a deep layering of snow that I like too.

IRLANDA. / Prague. / Cil Dara

Embrace the rain OP

It has/had the power to cultivate an entire nation and how her People are,, For we would not be who we are without the rain,

Also, the right gear makes you immune to the rain.

Also

It snows in Ireland and we love it as it usually means days off school/work
