Why does it seem every man has a full beard and bi couples with bi partner has full beard. It’s not for me. And does nothing for me.

I'm OK with beards if they're groomed & trimmed regularly.

The problem is some guys grow them just because they're currently fashionable, often grossly overweight men who don't do anything to maintain it besides get food caught in it.

Generally I don't like big bushy beards, a little bit of stubble is usually what does it for me.

It's not that beards necessarily look bad, but I think many of us are aware of a certain characters who have co-opted the beard in recent years & are bringing the style into disrepute.

I personally don't care if a man actually has a beard or not, just if he is a "beard" personality. It's hard to articulate but surely some people get what I'm saying, right?

I'm growing a monkey tail at the moment. I shaved it once a couple of weeks ago and I'll incorporate it into my morning ablutions today. The aim is to have a "full monkey" into my hairline (what's left of it) ready for Christmas.

I've never seen anyone else sporting such ridiculous face fungus so why not eh?

Got a beard and have done for over 10 years now.

Some women like beards, some don’t.

I don’t find it an issue and amazes me how many debates on fab about this subject.

Lot more important traits/features than facial hair for me that people should be looking for

I think this is the best way I can describe it..

The same reason why some men might buy a sports car, have a gun collection, or wear lots of muscle-shirts even in inclement weather, is the same reason why a certain type of man might grow a big beard.

I'm pro beard. Always have been but the beard alone won't make someone attractive. Mind you having said that I've seen men who I found attractive become the opposite because they got rid of their beard so maybe I'm talking rubbish lol

Everyone has their preferences, of course. In my personal opinion lots of blokes look better with a beard than clean shaven. Which is why I grew mine - I think I look better with it vs without it. Not all beards are grown equal, obviously, and good maintenance is also key (keeping it trimmed/shaped, washed and oiled).

Ive got a beard at the mo. But it comes and goes. Im certainly not following the trend.

Due to being bald, facial hair is the only option to try something different.

Usually its kept at stubble length.

But recently at work, looking at the guys, you are more unique if you are clean shaven and don't have any tattoos.

I like the thought of growing a beard if it didn't look like a bunch of pubes stuck to my face. I have noticed an upward trend in them though and if I don't shave for a while, I'll always do so before a meet or going out to a club

I was clean shaven face and head for years and years, infact i got a x mas card from Gillette every Christmas thanking me for my custom

But while on a road trip in Spain i got scruffy and realised the Spanish get weak at the knees for a bit of ginger, that was 9 years ago and i haven't shaved my face since, i trim the beard every few weeks

And id have to say more woman dig it than not,

Ever considered that men grow beards cos they want to. Who cares if it isn’t for you? It takes a stunning level of arrogance to frame men having beards as a great big inconvenience to you, rather than their personal choices

I am sure it's up to individuals to do as they please. If they like a beard then why not. There is however a little element of truth that it has become a bit of a fad but that's nothing new it was so few years back and then it disappeared and everyone was keen to have a clean shaven look. Things go around like that. If one is happy, that's all that matters. I used to have one when it was not that fashionable to, though dont have one now. It never bothered me then or indeed now.

There’s a recession, growing a beard means you save money on things like razor blades and shaving foam. Plus it keeps your face warm in winter when you can’t afford to turn the heating on.

Not really, never used beard oils as mines not that long (I have clippers to keep it trimmed) and as for shampoo, no more than I would when the hair on top of my head is ready for a cut.
