10 years ago this new years eve I stopped smoking cigarettes.

Tonight I had a few pints and a hot curry and I am craving for a smoke again.

Do anyone else still feel like smoking after all this time?

I did a couple of times over the years. (I quit over 20 year ago ). I suppose it’s some kind of brain thing ticking in.

But I only smoked embassy no1’s, and I was loyal so I can’t get them anymore. I’m safe.

I quit 35 years ago , and there are still times when I could murder a Marlboro !

Out door drinking on summer evenings are a particular weakness !

I didn't know they stopped selling them. If I remember regals were similar.

I do get a craving occasionally and I stopped about 15 years ago. Since then I've probably smoked 1 in total and tried vaping but im totally over it. I smoked silk cut and never see anyone with them these days

I stopped smoking 35 years ago, I *still* dream I'm smoking and the idea of smoking a cigarette with a cup of coffee after a meal really appeals

They didn't I'm pretty sure they just changed the name.

it doesn't but the reality of smoking isn't appealing when you consider lighting up and smelling like an ashtray

I stopped cigarettes on Monday. Turned to vaping instead, first 3 days were the worst, now I'm ok.

But to think ill still get cravings years later isn't a great thought.

I switched to a vape a few years back and was great. But back then was vape shops or crappie ones at off licenses. So running out of juice, coil battery on nights out I only lasted a few months.

A craving only last five minutes, when you feel it come on just do something for five minutes and hopefully the feeling will have passed

Another craving might come along immediately after, but that one will only last five minutes too

I remember having a cigarette after I’d quit for about 1-2 years. I smoked less than half and put it out. I regretted lighting it, I didn’t like it, and that’s the very last on I ever had.

You might crave it, you might not. But from my experience once that addiction is kicked, the actual need to smoke is gone too.

I stopped smoking 23 years ago and I did want to smoke again for the first couple of years but I resisted the temptation.After that I never wanted a cigarette again.It might help that I don't drink alcohol!

I stopped smoking cigarettes decades ago, but for years after had a cigar Christmas Day evening and New Years eve.

Haven't done that for years now, but I still have the fancy.

I get my shaving creme from the same shop that sells my cigars. The temptation is strong.......

I’ve never smoked but sometimes when I smell it, I fancy one so not sure if it’s years of passive smoking or just a bodily response.

I would vape on a night out occasionally if I could find zero nicotine but all I've seen contain nicotine.
