Just come back from a cafe where the servers were wearing antlers. Does anything look more stupid, or am I in a miserable minority for pitying the wearers?

I did however think we're taking about actual deer antlers, like people were wearing them as a fashion thing. Then I remembered it was Christmas and we're talking about fake antlers. I'm so slow.

You can't say that an not expect a photo request. You're soooooo hot, I imagine it would melt all the snow.

It's a bit of light hearted fun at Christmas. Yes it's tat but I don't think people look like prats. It should just be taken in good spirit. But you carry on being miserable about such things if it makes you feel good.

Just to make sure I'm following... Someone in a cafe was wearing antlers, as in Christmas Reindeer antlers, and this had an effect on you?

Starts a conversation with non miserable people and likely leads to better tips for people in a low-paying job.

I can imagine it made someone smile, giggle and chat today. Maybe even gave someone whether staff/customer the perfect opportunity to break the ice and strike up a conversation with someone and they left the cafe feeling happier.

An above poster mentioned the possibility of additional tips too, I agree with their reply
