It is mr olympia weekend.

From the land of haribos.

Who else are going to be watching it? It is on this weekend and for the competitors they are doing the peak week, where they are on very low calories.

We have competitors in the open category like big ramy, hadi choopan, nick walker, brandon curry.

In the mens physique, we have chris bumstead, who do you think will win?

I reckon that big ramy will win the open and chris bumstead the mens physique.

There are few fitness influencers that will cover it, like coach greg and nicks strength and power, here is gregs video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cI1J3GCkobE

Who is your favorite bodybuilder? I like the classic ones like arnie, but the all time favorite would be jay cutler

I can’t wait! I’ll be watching. I think Big Ramy has got it again though. I am rooting for James Hollingshead though hoping he’ll make top ten…

My all time favourites competitors were Samir Bannout & Lee Priest

I much prefer the physique category. Can't see C Bum losing, he has the height which is a massive advantage, either way his physique is immense.

This may sound a silly question - but are all the competitors juiced up to get their physiques? Or is there a strict testing policy?

They all claim to be clean but you don't get 25 inch arm's 1% body fat and weight 135kgs clean.

It's one of the reasons why so many of them die from heart related issues fairly young.

That and the extremes they put their bodies through regards diet and duretics.

I'm sorry but they don't claim to be clean, many of them openly admit to assistance or don't deny it. It's so much more mainstream than you realise anyway.

Hadi looked amazing but his attitude was bad and that was before he stormed off, my friend was watching and had already messaged to say he was being a dick! Lunsford had a better back and everyone knows comps are won from the rear, was also told that I person Lunsford really brought it in for the finals, everything can change between prejudging and finals

Also, they all have scar tissue and injection sites, they are saying his lumps could be his lymph nodes from the excessive stress to his body, who knows! They are all in great shape, Samson was amazing and definitely one to watch for the future

Not injecting in discreet areas and/or injecting too close to the contest some gear leaves a lump for a few days he had a lump on each lat and each upper outer glute

There are drug tested federations for those that want to compete naturally but public interest is literally zero. Without drugs pro bodybuilding wouldn’t exist

Many many years ago I dated a competitive body builder. Every year we would go to Nottingham for the start of the tour the professional guys would do straight after Olympia. We always stayed in the same hotel as the competitors and I have been lucky enough to meet many of them in person. Dorian Yates after his first Olympia. Kevin Lavrone, Henderson Thorn, Milos Sarchev. Thierry Banut and not forgetting the wonderful Albert Beckles amongst many many more, who's wife we shared an umbrella walking to the venue. Great times !

Yes, yw pal. I like to follow coach gregs update on it too, he covered the pre judging from yesterday here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFUpfAhRNvI where he predicted that wesley vissers could win it. I also thought that he would win it and he won the classic physique as well.

It is the mr olympia weekend and who else is excited? I am and who do you think will win it? I reckon that in the open category, samson dauda will win it and in the classic physique category I reckon that wesley vissers will win it

Samson needs to bring condition, if he's off which he usually is he won't win. With others pulling out I think it's Hadis to lose.

C Bum, Dino, Vissers top 3 in classic. Vissers legs are lacking so no chance of win.
