I tried two of those Celebrity Lookalike apps. The first failed to recognise a human face in the first 4 selfies I fed it, which may be accurate but felt unnecessarily cruel. I deleted it.

The second told me I was 70% like someone I'd never heard of, then 60% someone else I'd never heard of,then said it had found a 96% match, that fewer than 1% of matches were this close,and that to find out who it was, I'd have to subscribe...

I was about to delete again, but rolled the dice one last time. This time,it told me I looked 88% like...(drumroll please)...

Kim Kardashian.

Hmmm. 1/10, would not post again.
