Not in an I'm going to fap over your response sort of message.

I have started saying I don't want private messages following a post. If I post about anything to do with sex, some of the messages that follow are great - wanting to speak about it genuinely. Others give me the ick.

I had to laugh when a man replied to my comment about bra sizes telling me I was wrong about mine and letting me know the right one.

I never did thank him for correcting my tape measure, Bravissimo's tape measure and all my bras which were clearly stitched with the wrong label.

It must be pretty frustrating to post something, knowing that you're going to get three unsolicited messages off the back of it.

I sometimes feel that the Platinum Members have the advantage with the option, when getting a naff message, of having the option to electrocute the sender.

We don't block men from messaging us but I'll delete in a heartbeat any message that comes through off the back of a forum thread where it's just a 'yeah, I agree' line or where they try and continue the discussion in private because they don't want other to see their opinion publicly.

I wish there was an option to opt out of the 'reply privately' system. If you have a comment with stating, do it on the thread.

The only filter we have set prevents 'newbies' from messaging.

A message is a message and you have choices - respond or delete.

and yes we enjoy being on the site

That's not logical at all though.

Im also not suggesting thats the only option, however it would be logical to take that course of action if one didnt want to receive those messages.

Some people see it as an opportunity to strike up a conversation though, and personally I don't find anything wrong with that. I can very easily reply politely asking them to keep it to the forums if it did bother me.
