What games did you play? If you can remember that far back!

I vaguely remember kiss chase... Which i think would be cause for being expelled now.

We used to play football with a squashed can. Was deadly. They deemed a football too dangerous.

Bulldogs- again banned because people got hurt hurt.

Kiss chase - again banned for obvious reasons

Tag - it will probably get banned at some point too.

Rounders - banned at my school because the batter launched the bat straight into someone’s face. Fair enough it wasn’t intentional but broken nose wasn’t good.

East Sussex

Two kids would link arms and start marching round the playground shouting "who wants to play cowboys and Indians?" More and more would link until (what seemed to me at the time) forty or fifty kids were in the chain. Playtime was usuat nearly over by the time the game started
