"What is a typical Brit? Do you mean English? There’s way more of the English than the other 3 home nations combined. Where I used to live, a typical local Brit could pronounce Welsh place names, took part in Eisteddfodau as a child, loves Dragons. A good friend of mine wears a kilt for special occasions, eats square sausage and thinks of Carlisle as being quite southern. Are we typical Brits or not? Gbat " Jesus loves you too ??

"I'm English, and happy with that. I don't feel remotely British, which is an artificial, Empire-era, politically convenient landgrab." How we define ourselves is really interesting, isn't it? I'm much more comfortable saying British than English, though I'm obviously both. But that's probably because there was an unsavoury association around parts of 'Englishness' when I was growing up, and it felt less welcoming to English people who looked like me, and I never quite shook it off. British doesn't feel artificial to me, just geographical: most of us are from the island of Great Britain or British Isles (bar our Northern Irish brethren). And I reckon I'm a pretty typical Brit: I apologise a lot, I queue patiently, I'm pretty understated and love a roast.

"I'm English, and happy with that. I don't feel remotely British, which is an artificial, Empire-era, politically convenient landgrab." I’m the opposite , quite OK with my British passport, history and the freedom and privileges provides me. But I don’t have any of the traits like Sunday dinners, queues, discussions about weather and I have a problem with things like manners and constant use of the word sorry.

Would that be someone who Leaves work in their German car, Stops off for a pint in an Irish pub, Gets an Indian for dinner on the way home, then sits on a Swedish sofa to watch American shows on a Japanese TV.? What is a Typical Brit?. " .... exactly and in 2022/23.. things have changed a lot since 1950s...
