"I have this but only very mildly. My doctor just said not much he can do (he is crap) and just gave me normal arthritis tablets(naproxen) which gives you stomach issues, which I already have grr" If they have prescribed strong anti inflammatories such as Naproxen then they should be prescribing a stomach protector such as omeprazole so prevent side effects such as stomach ulcers

"For the last few months I've been unable to even think about meeting anyone due to pain issues that come with Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA). Does anyone else have experience with this? Any tips of how to better manage the pain would be appreciated." I also have psoriatic arthritis and can really sympathise with you on the pain front. Mine is now at a level where I take a mixture of Oramorph and MST (morphine) most days just to keep the pain bearable to be able to move. I also find nice warm (not hot) baths help me as well but it would depend on which joints you have it in. I have it in most of my joints so find that helps. Other than that I have been to Dr's on many occasions and they just keep prescribing the above medication. Also being colder weather I have found has really effected mine as well so fingers crossed the better weather comes soon so it is more manageable. Take care and hope the pain subsides enough for you soon. ![]()

I had to be taken off the Adalimumab injections due to kidney damage. So until they come up with an alternative, I'm almost unable to do anything during the day due to the pain.

"Orimorph may be the best stuff in the world!! Oh my god that stuff knocks you out! Lol" It really does help but the MST is like pure morphine. Lol

I done a 13 weeks course of methotrexate recently which done absolutely nothing for me so am waiting to try other things but with covid backlogs, have been told could be waiting 18 months to 2 years.
