Which was the scariest tune?

For me, WIA had the right tempo, but Panorama felt a bit more intense and rushed, as time was running out: in other words if the message didn't sink in by the time WIA finished and Panorama had started it was far too late...discuss.

"Pretty sobering straight after That's Life."

WIA = we’re all gonna die and it’s too late to explain why Scunthorpe Council is involved.

Panorama = we’re all gonna die but not until they’ve explained how Scunthorpe Council is involved

That’s Life = Welcome to Scunthorpe

Titz Towers, North Notts

With only 4 channels to choose from, having these on the same night seemed a bit much.

Anyone remember the Cook Report?

My favourite story from Roger Cook was when he once walked into a restaurant, a complete stranger went, 'oh shit!' and legged it.

Roger Cook was fearless. I remember a man attacking him and the camera crew ran off whilst he stood there and took the beating.

I remember the cook report, didn't he thump people who were little shits? Like landlords who refused to make their houses liveable?

Is he the basis of Roger Mellie from VIZ?

All we have know in telly is Dominic "Cor blimey, limp lettuce" Little wood, or little good to his production crew.

There is some deep and menacing about cello bass lines, whether it's the real article or from a synth.

I don't know about that and I never saw him hitting anyone, but they don't make them like him anymore.

As a child the Captain Scarlet intro scared me. Makes no sense as I knew that it didn't matter that he was gunned down as he survived and became invulnerable (and he was, y'know, a puppet) but it was always a trial getting through the credits.
